Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon Prince Chibudom Nwuche has urged executives of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ahoada East LGA to remain strong and committed to the leadership of His Excellency Chief Barr Nyesom Wike CON in the state. Speaking at his residence in Port Harcourt when he received the LGA Executive of the party, Integrity Councilors, Ward Chairmen and secretaries, he commended them for their steadfastness in the midst of the political crises in the state. He thanked them for their steadfastness and enduring to the end, refusing all monetary and material inducements to sway them to the wrong side, assuring them that things have changed and in due time their sacrifices will be compensated.
He used the opportunity to commend the member representing Ahoada East Constituency 1 in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon Queen Tony Williams for not betraying the people but stood firm with other 26 members of the Assembly in defense of democracy despite the difficulty she went through by the non payment of their salaries and allowances by the state governor for over a year but yet remained undeterred and strong.
