Wike: The Plot of Ingrates Will Fail
The youths who were procured to protest at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Party (APC) in Abuja on Friday simply exposed the dept to which ingratitude can sink in it’s desperate bid to avoid responsibility and betray it’s devious fidelity to betrayal and backstabbing.
While the procured youths screamed themselves hoarse, trying to justify the peanuts and crumbs they were paid for that sordid show of shame, the voices of their masters , cut through the facade and revealed those behind the plot.
If you may ask, what was Wike’s crime this time? The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory had successfully concluded a highly visible and jam-packed thank you rallies to all the LGAs in Rivers State. The FCT minister in his usual frank mannar had cautioned the Rivers State governor, Siminilayi Fubara to abide by the agreement reached in an effort to resolve the political impasse that has griped the state. Wike equally admonished the governor to be wary of do-gooders who are trooping to the state with the sole intention of embarking on a treasure hunt.
True to type, Governor Fubara mobilized his agent provocateurs to haul insults on the FCT Minister. Daniel Bwala a master of ingratitude and somersaults jumped into the fray, bouyed on by whiff of the money oozing out of the Rivers State government coffers. In his bid to justify the largessse he had cornered from Gov. Fubara, Daniel Bwala launched into a tirade laced with untruths and manufactured innuendos, trying to raise issues that are neither here nor there.
On the heels of Daniel Bwala’s invectives, the APC National Secretary , Ajibola Basiru , equally joined the fray , playing a script , paid for and bought, by the Rivers State Governor, Siminilayi Fubara, seeking to denigrate and cast aspersions on the FCT Minister.
This phalanx of ingratitude, composed of men with no integrity, who had no input in how the last elections were won, but today elevated by the hard work of others , can only offer what they have, , which is betrayals and insults.
Let it be known loud and clear that , no amount of plots , paid insults and ochestrated protests, against the honourable Minister of the FCT, will diminish his wide acceptable and following in Rivers State. No amount of white-washing and propaganda , will eclipse the immense role played by the FCT Minister in Securing victory for the APC in Rivers state.
Gov. Fubara must understand that “nobility goes with obligations”. He is not any position to choose when it suits him to honour agreements or when it suits him to play the “innocent victim” and cast aspersions on others.
Patronage is a time honoured principle in politics, that allows a merit based incentive system to reward loyalty and hard work during electoral seasons and fidelity to the party structure. Gov. Fubara is the architect of his own doom. His holier than thou mein , can only at best deceive the unwary . Rivers people knows what the real issues are in the political impasse in Rivers State , dand not the fabricated mischief of Gov. Fubara and his army of Ingrates, who pretends not to know the integral role honour and loyalty plays in any political system..
