The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IKORO OKIGWE media High Chief Sir PMC Okeke, has been shortlisted as a member of the Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo worldwide electoral committee scheduled for January 2025 polls.
According to information gathered by our correspondent,Chief Ejiofor Onyia, will serve as Chairman of the electoral committee, while other members include, Nigeria ex-Minister of Aviation Amb. Dr. Mrs. Kema Chikwe.
Others are, former Minister of Education, Rt. Hon. Goodluck Opiah, Senator Sam Ohabunwa, (Rtd) Gen. Collins Ihekire, Senator Iyom Josephine Anenih, Amb. Eddy Onuoha, among others.
High Chief Okeke, who also holds a traditional title as Aku Ruo Ulo of Okigwe, is a renowned philanthropist and business mogul, who has touched many lives especially in Imo State, and beyond.
It will be recalled that Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo worldwide after the demise Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu,Ahaejiagamba Ndi-Igbo, unanimously selected Nze Ozichukwu Chukwu to serve out the tenure of Imo State in the Igbo social cultural organization which ends on January 2025, during which they will organize a fresh election.
Meanwhile some stakeholders from Imo State, have welcomed the appointment as a great honour for High Chief Okeke, they expressed gratitude to the leadership of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo led by Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu for this opportunity and appointment.
