The Rivers State governor, Sir Siminialayi Fubara has been called upon to recognize and honour Rivers born Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojobah, Who Scored 361 in JAMB/UTME. With a score of 361, Solomon

Chukwumuenya Ojobah is one of the 0.5 per cent (8,401) who took the exam in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country.
Recall that during a press conference at the headquarters in Abuja on Monday, April 29, the JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed that only 0.5 per cent of the total of 1,989,668 candidates who registered for the examination scored 300 and above.

Checks showed that other candidates reported to have recorded a score of 300 and above included Jeremiah Emmanuel (366), Chukwuemeka Alinonu (343), Fatimah Wuraola (351), Oluwapelumi Olushola (326), Nafisa Eboh (321), Angel Chukwu (336), Victoria Oni (313) and Timileyin Ishola (307).

Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojabah’s JAMB Score

In the highly competitive arena of Nigeria’s unified tertiary matriculation examination, where success often hinges on a razor-thin margin, the journey to achieving a score above 300 is fraught with challenges, yet some candidates defied obstacles and emerged triumphant against all odds. One of such candidates is Rivers Born Solomon Ojobah who smashed his way to the rank of top scorers, in the UTME by posting an impressive 361 aggregate. Master Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojobah is a is a student of Niger Delta Science School (NDSS), Port Harcourt.

Making the call in Port Harcourt, a group, the Rivers Patriotic Forum, in a statement disclosed that Master Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojobah has made Rivers State proud, especially at a time that the average Rivers teenager and youth is preoccupied with anti-social and non-academic pursuits.

The group urged the Rivers State governor to showcase Master Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojobah as a role model for the Rivers children and also an ambassador for the state in the field of educational and academic endeavors.

For Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojobah, being among the top 0.5 per cent in the 2024 UTME was reward for hard work as he had studied really hard for the exams, after he scored 303 In his mock JAMB. He had buried himself inside his books, resolving to do better. He had assured his parents that he will do better and true to his words he blasted his way to 361 out of 400 questions in JAMB!

Solomon Chukwumuenya Ojobah intends to study Aeronautical Engineering, with Mechatronics or Robotics as alternative courses.
