The Rivers Patriotic Forum was among thousands of Rivers People and organisations that were present at St. Marks Anglican Church, Elelenwo, Obio-Akpor LGA, to celebrate with the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. O.K. Chinda.
The leader of delegation, Dave Maxwell Ibelegbu disclosed that the Rivers Patriotic Forum was happy to be associated with the lawmaker because, “Hon. Kingsley Chinda has continued to offer the people of Obio-Akpor Federal Constituency, Rivers State and the entire Nigeria effective and efficient representation”.
The event attracted the cream de la cream of Nigerian political society including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and the Speaker of the House of representatives and scores of other federal lawmakers.
Speaking after the church service the Convener of the Rivers Patriotic Forum, Fabian Moses Urang said that Hon. O.K. Chinda is a lawmaker and politician Rivers people are proud of.
“Hon. O K. Chinda is an uncommon politician as can be seen here today by the thousands of ordinary people drawn from the nooks and crannies of his far flung Constituency to be part of his Birthday. It is on record that Hon. Chinda has touched lives among his people”.
Also Speaking, the secretary of Rivers Patriotic Forum, Wariso Wariso said that Hon. Chinda is a worthy ambassador of Rivers people, who has consistently positioned Rivers State in a positive light right from his days as a commissioner in Rivers State and since he got elected into the House of Representatives.
