Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon Chibudom Nwuche has condoled the Nigeria Police Force and the the family of SP Bako Amgbashim for the death of the gallant officer who restored peace in a very short time to Ekpeye as a whole,while he served as the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ahoada Police Division in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State.’
He called on the authorities and security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act for the full weight of the law to be brought upon the perpetrators.The brazen killing is an affront to civilised society and undermines the authority of the state. He also called on Ekpeye people, traditional rulers, chiefs and the general public to work with the security agencies to fish out and apprehend the criminals behind the act.
He further prayed for the repose of the soul of SP Bako Amgbashim who displayed extra ordinary gallantry in combating crime during his posting to Ogoni land and now Ekpeye and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
